Documenting Learning with iPads
The students were very engaged throughout the process while using the iPads. They felt that they could “get their ideas down faster” and easily add visual appeal. The iPad provided students with built-in features that allowed for multi-modal representations of their learning, including audio, video, photos, drawings and text. These features accommodated for diverse learning style preferences in my students. As a teacher, I found the digital artifacts were great pieces of assessment, giving me insight into students’ learning and thinking processes.
